Deworming is also known by the name of drenching  is given to get rid of infections caused by a group of parasite family which includes roundworm, flukes or maybe tapeworm (This is emphasized to clean the intestine and hence deworming humans is given much priority).

Therefore, medication helps in killing the infections as soon as there is proper medicine intake.

WHO Guidelines On Deworming

WHO has laid down several guidelines for deworming humans and medication and dosage is described henceforth.

Some medicines are taken empty stomach while some are taken with some meal WHO guidelines say most of the deworming medication is taken empty stomach at night.

Children: Single dose of albendazole (400mg) or mebendazole (500mg) is advisable for public health while half dose (200mg) is advisable for children less than 24 months of age.

Non-Pregnant Girls: albendazole or mebendazole can be taken to cure the problem.

There are many benefits of deworming adults:

There are some mild effects of deworming a child. Stomach pain, vomiting, difficulty in breathing and swelling on face, throat, lips or tongue.

This situation gets worse and doctors advice is needed in case of liver problems, jaundice, fever or chills.

Side Effects of Deworming Humans

The side effect of deworming in humans is more or less similar like children. Vomiting, fever, headache are some of the common side effects. They need to be cured to lead a healthy life.

Most of the side effects of medication in case of deworming disappear in 24 to 48 hours. The medications are 90-100% effective.

These parasites are creating common symptoms such as fatigue, weight loss, weakness or loss of appetite.

Deworming is an essential process that should be done after 4-6 months to clear the body infections and lead a safe and happy life.
